Wie eine Analyse des Online-Magazins Quotenmeter ergab, erzielte UU im Jahr 2010 eine durchschnittliche Sehbeteiligung von 1.91 Mio. Zuschauern, was einem Marktanteil von 12.9% entspricht. Dies sind fast 200'000 Zuschauer mal als im Vorjahr, wo durchschnittlich 1.72 Mio. Zuschauer einschalteten. 2008 waren es 1.75 Mio.
In der Zielgruppe der 14-49-Jährigen erreichte UU 0.98 Mio. im Jahre 2010, dies sind 100'000 mehr als im Vorjahr und entsprechen einem Marktanteil von 18.2% (gegenüber 16.9% im Jahre 2009).
Ob dies tatsächlich den konzeptionellen Veränderungen der Serie zu verdanken ist und ob dafür wirklich Holger Franke an den Karren gefahren werden musste, ist fraglich. Letztlich wird die Serie vorwiegend durch das gute Lead-In der äusserst erfolgreichen wie trivialen Scripted-Reality-Entwertungen im Nachmittagsprogramm profitiert haben.
Auch die anderen beiden RTL-Soaps konnten etwas zulegen. Düster hingegen sah es bei den ARD-Seifenopern aus: Bei den 14-49-Jährigen kam "Verbotene Liebe" auf 7.9% Marktanteil (gegenüber 9.3% im Jahr 2009), "Marienhof" sogar auf 7.1% (gegenüber 8.5% im Vorjahr).
